I returned to academia in 2026 after co-founding Elemental Power, an energy-sector AI startup, where I led the data science team in building machine-learning models and optimisation tools to support Net Zero planning decisions. Before that I spent six years in the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London, latterly as a Senior Teaching Fellow in Data Science, where I led modules on the MSc in Machine Learning and Data Science and took on wider roles advancing digital education across the department, faculty and College. I remain an Honorary Research Fellow there, co-supervising research students in the Statistics section.

My research sits in spatial statistics and machine learning methodology, with a particular interest in point process models, network data and likelihood-free inference — see the Research and Publications pages for more. I did my PhD at Imperial College London, supervised by Emma McCoy and Ajay Jasra, and have previously held positions at UCL and the University of New South Wales, as well as in industry.
